[Lanvall]

Lanvall의 본명은 Arne Stockhammer로 오스트리아 출신의 기타리스트이자 키보드연주자다. 그의 이름을 Lanvall로 바꾼건 그의 본명이 사람들에게 어필하기에는 어려운 발음이어서라고 한다.

그는 1998년 여성싱어를 두고 있던 밴드 'Edenbridge'와 계약을 하기 전까지 세장의 음반을 내 놓았는데, 1994년 발매한 본 앨범 'Melolydian Garden'이 첫번째 앨범이며 이후 1996년에 2집 'Auramony' 그리고 1997년에 3집 'The Pyromantic Symphony'를 발표했다.

그의 솔로 앨범들은 progressive rock으로 구분되어 지는데 그의 키보드를 듣고 있자면 'Silk Road'로 유명한 일본인 뉴에이지 뮤지션 '키타로'가 생각난다. 약간은 몽환적이면서 서정적인 멜로디를 듣고 있자면 어떤 곡에서는 락이라기 보다는 뉴에이지에 더 가깝기도 하다. 그의 기타연주를 말해주는 수식어 또한 Melodic, Symphonic 등으로 그의 연주가 얼마나 부드럽고 섬세한지를 말해주고 있다.

베이스에 'Ulbi Ulbricht' 드럼에 'Thomas Schaufler'가 참가했으며 이외에는 키보드와 기타로 본인이 혼자서 만든 음악들이다.
